Hibiya Live Festival 2026 ... Hmm ... Why no photos? It's their show, so their rules. I'm good with that. Yet, I wonder why. Perhaps this is copyrighted music... perhaps one of the performers is under age? ... witness protection? ... on Her Majesty's Secret Service?
I'm thinking back in time, before phones were cameras too. There were rules about making audio recordings at concerts... no bootlegs allowed. Perhaps, for this performance or others, this is a festival rule (in order to secure certain acts... something written into the performance contract).
Good question Rich. We were in a performing arts area of the city. Maybe something like Broadway in NYC. I suspect that maybe some of the people on stage were Japan (Broadway) level singers and so maybe they are paid for their work. No free copies allowed. (Only a guess. But I screwed up and was quickly corrected.)
